Launceston has plenty to enjoy. Launceston and the Tamar Valley boast over 30 vineyards – Chardonnay, Riesling,  Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Gewürztraminer, and Pinot Noir are all grown here, along with sparkling wines that are considered equal to those from Champagne.
